One or two of the Popeyes tenders always seem to have this "weird" texture that literally just makes me gag. I have just about written them off as an option for good. If it wasn't for the Blackened Ranch I'd already be a goner.

I have seen this in cheap cuts of mean. It’s tendon or vein.
