What’s wrong with Venmo

I know why people don’t want to take paypal, you can recall the money and one person gets screwed.

I've done 5 or 7 deals on here using paypal and it has been a very good experience, thus far. I wouldn't trust using paypal for transactions outside the ODT with someone I don't know. This goes to show what a great collection of honest/trustworthy people we have on this site!

I'm always amazed how some people say it's "too much trouble" to ship things and use electronic funds but they will drive a four hour round trip to make a deal

LOL, "no shipping" on a 3 ounce item that would slip into a .53 cent Walmart padded envelope. Mailing something has become as mysterious as writing a paper check.

Exactly. I've used venmo a few times and honestly it takes cash out of the equation during the exchange. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Just the fact that it’s instant and not able to be recalled is a great thing if someone is trying to scam

Took a month for a 200 dollar transfer to go through to a buddy for some reason
