What’s your cure for kidney stones

Part of this crew, passed 6 so far. I take a pill called Chanca Piedra that has seemed to help me with the consistency I was having them.

I have had them. 2014. Misery. Morphine, dilaudid and toredol - still hurt. Ended up passing it, catching and bringing it to the Dublin VA and they lost it.

The pain frightened me. Bad. I have a pretty good tolerance for pain, but this is its own kind of strange agony.

They always ask what’s your pain on a scale of 1 to 10. I have people say it’s about 10 while they are setting there smiling. If you have had a stone then you know what 10 feels like. When you are in the floor on your hands and knees throwing up I don’t want them to ask anything just stick a shot in me

Beer helps….i hate beer but I’ll drink it when i have stones….and tequila

Nothing helps much till it move on down the pipe. I’ve had over a100 of them over the years. Thankfully I don’t have many now I tried beer but that brought on gout and that’s not fun either

Lemonade!

I had my first stone when I was about 35, I had no idea what was happening to me - emergency room visit. I am 72 now and have had 14 of the little boogers, the last one that I passed was 8 or 9 years ago. My urologist told me to drink lemonade - and I drink a lot of it. Lemonade does help prevent them but I'm not sure about helping pass one.
