What are some unpopular gun opinions you have?

If you remove the government than society would be anarchy. Which is fine if thats how you want it. However in that scenario rights do not exist. So you can't quote the 2A of the US Constitution as reasoning for someone to own a firearm then say get rid of the government. The Constitution is our government. Also doing your time is punishment for your crimes. It doesnt mean we trust you after your done paying it. Thats nuts. thats like saying someone convicted of raping a 7 year old who has paid their debt to society should be able to open a daycare.
Raping 7 year olds is not Constitutionally protected and is a terrible comparison.

So your infringements will keep the guy from robbing the store again???

No.

Your infringements will only affect the felons that have actually reformed.
your right they wont but that's no reason not to try and prevent it. why trust a person you already know is capable and willing to commit a crime. sometimes violent crime. the way i see it those type of people are the reason i carry a gun.

I’m not saying that. I’m saying we should remove the government completely.

I don’t trust the government to make a decision about someone’s mental health, either. Way to easy for them to manipulate it to remove someone’s right to own a firearm.

I spoke with a mental health professional once who thinks we should have to pass a mental health checkup before any firearm purchase. He also believes that the desire to own a firearm indicates mental illness.

The people that you need your carry weapon for are the people that are least likely to be affected by any infringement.

Again, my opinion, but I think that all felons that serve their time and are released with no restrictions should be able to own firearms.

You don’t support the 2nd amendment, I get it. And that is your right although I think it’s weird that you choose to hang out on a gun trading site.

Your thinking has a surprising parallel to the way the Liberals think, the essence of which is: "agree with exactly what I think on a given issue, or you're ANTI the issue".
( basically, they insist we go along with every one of their solutions and beliefs on, for example, the environment, and if we don't, then they morph that into meaning we hate the planet, want Yosemite and Yellowstone to be strip mined, and want to see school children drinking mud-water in their water fountains. That about right ?)
I have a problem allowing firearms for people that are demonstrably bat**** crazy, or can't stop mugging people and robbing liquor stores, ergo, I must not "support the 2nd amendment". OK, gotcha.
Given your bizarrely detached-from-reality way of thinking, I'm starting to have concerns about YOU possessing firearms, LOL!!! :becky:
