So I just got back from Kroger's doing a little shopping for the house. I was also open carrying while I was inside of Kroger's. As I walked up to the self check out and started scanning my stuff and I hear behind me the armed security guard for Kroger's talking to the Kroger's employee and pointing at my firearm saying...."look at that, so he thinks that he can walk in here carrying that" and the store employee replies...."he's just protecting himself, look at the area we stay in"......what are you guy's input on the security guard remark? This is just going to bug me all night!

I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds to me like he's just irritated because he's prohibited from carrying a firearm there. Many corporations have policies like that. I've had Home Depot employes tell me it sucks that customers can carry but not employees.
