That's why I carry concealed so you don't have to worry about comments like that since nobody but you knows you have it.

I used to carry open at times and people would walk up to me and address me as " officer" then ask me for directions......I am not kidding.

Yep, both of these! He probably felt like he had some authority while wearing his uniform and gun, and here you come with a gun and suddenly he felt a bit less important and special, so it hurt his feelings.

I wonder who he was, because I used to work security for the company that does kroger and I worked 2 of the kroger stores and they do not have ARMED guards.
