He would not say squat....but we have the same barrel on our match Garands....A 1965 Springfield barrel. He told me that at least..

One of the best M1 Garand Gunsmiths is about an hour from Atlanta over in Buchanan GA.
Steve Edwards, he was an apprentice under Hook Boutin. He also works on the M-14/M1A.
Steve will go through your rifle and make it as accurate as possible. He will also insure the rifle is CMP Compliant.
