What are your thoughts on pocket carry?

Have a friend who pocket carries a Glock 43 in a Sticky holster all the time. Even if they're carrying elsewhere on the body. He says the holster is comfortable and virtually eliminates printing.

Yeah, but I think the PCS ones are more form-fit. And they have different shapes for different pockets. But yeah, that's better than the Uncle Mikes/other nylon crap.

Something that large would drive me nuts, but I've head great luck with a G42 in a Remora. Safety or not, I would never, ever pocket carry without a holster. Don't try to keep anything else in that pocket.

9mm in a holster
380 doesn't have the extra pay off for the cost compared to 9. I personally am not carrying a pistol in my pocket, I've grown accustomed to my dick. I'd get a single stack 9 like a Shield, XDs or G43

Same here, but I carry it strong side in a Ragsdale pocket holster. Can't even tell its there. Great little revolvers.

If I pocket carry something the size you are, it's always in a holster. BlackHawk pocket holsters are cheap enough and seem to last. My wife is using the same one from 4 years ago. Everyday.

I personally know two people that have shot themselves in the leg with these pistols in their pocket (without holsters). Now granted they accidentally put keys or something else into the same pocket leading to the gun getting cocked and fired but still I'd hate to take a .22 to my junk or femoral artery.

The only way I see it happening is carrying it cocked with no holster, if the hammer is lowered on the carry notch it has to be cocked in order to fire.
