What cell phone carrier do you have and how much do you pay?

h2o wireless, an MVNO using AT&T towers. $27 a month for 2GB at 4G. Never had any issues.

Boost mobile. 50/mo..no taxes or additional fees. Unlimited everything on the handset, additional 8 gigs of hotspot data for the home network.

Latest android phone was free for switching existing phone number to them.

It doesn't really matter what anyone else pays since the big providers seem to change their plans on a weekly basis. Chances are none of the aforementioned plans are even available now.

Straight Talk unlimited everything is still available for $45 per month per phone.

I switched from Verizon to Straight Talk several years ago and noticed no difference (other than my monthly cell cost going down by 50%)
