My long gone Yamaha FZ1. It would rip and provided an upright, all day riding position.
57 Panhead, I like it but it didn't like my A-- it was sore all the time for some reason. LOL
The one I wish I had kept was a 74 Norton 850 commando.
Both of these are gone for almost 3 years, wouldn't mind another bike at some point, but no rush. The '05 Nighttrain was cool for about a year, then I decided it wasn't quite fast enough, and rather than build the engine, I decided to move up to a '07 CBR1000RR. It was faster than it needed to be.

ha. I went thru the same type of progression. I had a VStar 1100 and it looked nice and sounded nice, but it topped out at about 100mph. Sooo, I sold it and got a Yamaha FZ1. 1000cc of inline 4 that I had up to 150mph a couple times. On top of all that speed, it was quite comfortable. MUCH more comfortable than the VStar was.
The flat one... laying on its side underneath a semi! It's very quiet, and doesn't disturb the environment or the serenity of the countryside.

Just finished the electrical, new ignition switch and headlight system .just have to paint and pinstripe and pull carbs and clean.
