Yeah , totally agree . I’ve had that done to me . But on the plus side , just did a deal Wednesday night on a want to buy , wrapped all the details up in 30 miles . Met Thursday with one of our awesome OG guys !

I said “I’ll take it “ he said Okay, I said “can we meet tomorrow “ he said “yes”, I said “great thanks and I will contact you in the morning for a convenient time and place for you “ and he replies an hour later with “sorry a guy just came and picked it up “

That’s low class in my opinion, whether 1 deal done or 1300 deals. If you have multiple offers, let that be known up front. I’m okay with that.

That's pretty bad. I have done untold numbers of "I want it, I'll take, we'll make the meet happen, just need 24 hours to figure out timing." From both sides. People are busy sometimes.

You tell someone you'll take it, then it's your responsibility to make it happen ASAP. You've gave the person your word, now they're dependent upon you to make it happen. Granted it takes two. But you just agreed to set your business aside to get this done. I've not contacted someone just for this reason sometimes because I know I can't do it at the time. That means there never was any contact, just drooling on my part

I’ve messaged people when I’m out of town before. Something like: Hey, nice widget. I’m out of town but if you have it Friday, I’ll take it. At least you have ammo against the lowballers …

Sometimes they mark it sold, sometimes they sell it before I get back. I’ve yet to get upset about either outcome.

I've got two trades pending and have been since last week and I won't be able to get to them until this upcoming Sunday. Both traders are cool with it, but I'd understand if they decide to sell/trade before then.

Just depends on how much the seller is in a rush to get it gone. Maybe they need the cash for bills or something
