I picked up this 1911 Browning 9mm in the last few days. It is stainless, double stack, with a 4-1/2 barrel. I have searched it over from one end to the other, and can't find a Model number. The serial is stamped on the frame and barrel, but I can't find a model. I am wondering what the value might be of this one.

It’s hard chrome don’t think anyone went to a lot of trouble (sand, nail polish etc.) to appear stainless. I only have Belgian but nothing ever left Viana in stainless., shoot the daylights out of it but no hollow points.

Nice looking Browning Hi-Power, modified extended safety, aftermarket grips. Manufactured by FN not Browning. FN did numerous Nickel type finishes. S/N should be on front of grip strap indicating manufacture date.
