Finally got around to running some batches of 9mm and 44 Mag over the chrono after work today.

Wrote up the next batch I want to try for 44 Mag, as well as 2 more that I want to try for 9mm.

Thinking that 4.2gr recipe might be my go-to for suppressed 9mm loads through my M9A4. I have to see what kind of steam they pick up through my SP5 before I commit to loading a whole batch though.

Next on the press will be a 10mm ladder to run through my Bruin though.

I used my Lee hand press to size/decap, and sort 600 nickel 9mm while watching TV and sipping a glass or two of Four Roses Small Batch Select tonight.

Final count: 400 all WIN, 100 all +P (77 WIN and 23 Hornady), and 108 mixed. I normally wouldn’t sort bulk pistol rounds, but these are earmarked for some pulled 147gr Federal HST bullets that I found on sale a month or so ago. I’ll be loading them to the same 1,000fps that a factory 147gr HST is loaded to. They’ll be used for defensive training and carry rounds.

I apparently hurt people’s feelings and stepped on their sensitive nerves by sipping a bourbon while sizing brass with no live primers, powder, or ammunition in the room.
LOL, the hell with them!!!! That’s why I have case feeders and bullets feeders on my presses. It keeps one hand free just for that reason.

NOT MINE!!! If I can't have a cocktail while doing this monotonous stuff, I'm not going to do it!!!
plenty of primers and powder in my reloading room!!

And I blast music and sometimes watch YouTube videos while running a turret press. It's nobody's business what you do at your house.
