Did you find the Blue Dot locally or online? My 10mm’s love that powder.
I found it on MidwayUSA's site. They still have it in stock. The price made my stomach flip, but I've been after this powder for so long that I just looked the other way and submitted order.
I understand all too well. I try to buy locally, but order online when I have to.
Agreed, I'm a stickler for buying local and only resort to online ordering when local comes up dry for an extended time or just flat out can't get their hands on what I'm after.
That's a bummer! Reminds me I need to snag an extra pin or two for my Lee universal decapping die. Original is still going strong, but I've had a few close calls. Some of my Fiocchi 44 Mag brass has the flash hole just slightly off-center and darn near wrecked my pin a few nights back. I also discovered the flash hole on Norma 9mm brass is wildly undersized and can't be deprimed by any pin I currently have. Almost snapped my pin on a few Norma out of a batch I was prepping.Well, I sat down last night to start to deprime a 50 cal can full of 9mm brass (thankspollock !) and broke the depriming pin. I have some on order, but as of last night, I was pinless.
So, fun had to stop.
I'm an utter noob, plus it's a new-to-me press and I thought "There's a bit of resistance there, I'll just gank the handle a bit" - and the rest was history.
But 50 pins cost me $16, so I'll never run out.

I just ran 250 10mm cases that I sized earlier today through my expander die.
I also expanded 500 .38 Spl cases earlier today.
Tomorrow I’ll get gear primed, and later in the week I’ll probably and expand and prime another few hundred .38 Spl cases. I have 1150 that I sized last week, and a bag with a few more hundred clean cases in it.
