What are you looking forward to in 2017?

I personally am looking forward to more competitive shooting.

I really like the vintage rifle matches and JCG matches at Riverbend Gun Club.

I may build another M1. Who knows...( 1943 receiver anyone? )

Possibly looking at m1917's...doing my homework...

Need to acquire more 30.06.

Really digging M1907 Slings and proper usage of web slings...

May get a shooting jacket...

I am very curious about the 1911's at the CMP.

MORE CMP SHOOTS THIS YEAR!!

Hope to get a M1A and a Bolt Action 308. I too need more 30-06 rounds. CMP finally sold out of the 240 spam cans. You could still get them in the store up until about 2 weeks ago. Which sling did you end up with?

alleycat alleycat I hear you...I really am going to hone in on shooting well. Prone, Sitting, Standing, bench....Really take my time. The 03A3 is my new project. I may take her to a indoor range for grins and giggles and shoot some paper.

Not a lot as far as adding to the collection. Finally snagged a 1941 Johnson!

Have 2 WWII 1911s for under $1,000 each which will be the price of 1911 RACK GRADES according to Mark Johnson.

Will try to shoot 10% of my collection each month.

Snag more 9mm and 45 ammo

Got a Colt 1911A1 at a show in VA. Made in 1949, had match sights and trigger. Sneeze and will fire. Head shots at 50+ yds, and body hits at 75+ yds. My kids and nephews all want it. They have all shot it and with a little help have done pretty much the same. Love it! ( shot 1911's in my army days)
