What is the legal window tint?

I have 20% iv gotten tickets for it i other trucks iv had but not this one. Iv never been stopped for window tint though, iIget stopped for speeding and then they get me for the ttint. Had an officer hand me a razor window scraper when I was 19 and tell me if i took it off right then he wwouldn't write me a ticket. I politely declined his offer and he did.

Window tint permit? That's like a Tax Stamp for NFA items. "We're not telling you you can't have it, you just have to pay and get permission"..............
