What is up with this 1911?

Does anyone know possible value in current market? Reasonable offers accepted until I put it up for sale tonight.

That's a Federal Ordnance frame. They were located out of California and put out a ton of low end aftermarket 1911 parts in the 1980's, including frames in both cast steel and cast aluminum alloy under the Federal Ordnance and Ranger brands. They were known for quantity not quality, with tolerances all over the map.

The slide looks good, but those are definitely aftermarket sights.

All in all, it appears to be a parts box build.
