If your looking for cheap, Dahlonega Gold and Pawn. If you want see **** that's really cool, and fairly priced guns, Straight Shooters in Cleveland.

I also love browsing the used sections at Adventure Outdoors

Cherokee Gun & Pawn is my spot. GA Firing Line has a good selection of new guns as well. Both stores have treated me well for a long time.

I'm off tomorrow and we are wanting to get out of the house. We decided to go look at guns and get something to eat. We are 40 minutes from Barrows in Butler and that's always an option but wanting something different. Considered Barrows and the cut across to Warner Robins and check out stores there before grabbing dinner.
I'm looking for suggestions within a few hours of Americus to find a cool gun store or a couple and a good place to eat.

Franklins Gun Shop in Athens they got good selection and get used guns in all the time

Was there yesterday. have a pretty solid selection of used S&W recolvers at solid prices.

Carrolls guns in Roberta ga and down the street the hardware store.if you come thru macon howards pawn is the local go-to

Planning our route and had planned to hit Barrows then travel to Roberta and then Warner Robins. Looked at Carrolls guns and they are not open on Saturday from March until September. Is the hardware store worth the diversion? Just trying to have a plan.

I would love to go to Franklin's but my kid isn't in Athens this.weekend. My son and I enjoy stopping in when we are up there visiting.

Clydes was a scheduled stop. Should we bypass. We were thinking Chucks and my son mentioned the Chinese buffet next door. Chinese was not what I had in mind but this.is a day for us to spend time together

There's no good Chinese buffet near Chuck's. If you want one, go to the Hibachi buffet next to Clyde's.
