What kind of media do you use?

I use Fox News, all other is just fake media..........

Corn cob. I dribble NuFinish car wax in it from time to time to rejuvenate it. I also clean with an old plastic coffee can and lid that I fill with scalding hot water, dawn and lemon juice and shake the fool outta it. It will get your cases clean, but you have to then wait for them to dry.

Do you wash them before or after you tumble them?

I use walnut and corn cob. The cob I bought at tractor supply. When I first got it I would find pieces stuck in cases. I then found that a few minutes in a blender and it's fine enough it doesn't get stuck. I also a cap of wax from time to time.

I'm a wet tumbler with stainless pins. Before I saw the light and switched I couldn't tell much of a difference between corn and walnut, only that walnut seemed to last a little longer

I use the hot wash method prior to tumbling, but it does such a great job I often just let them dry and then reload them.

Walnut for about 35 years. I just picked up a Frankford wet tumbler but haven't used it yet.

before I went to stainless steel I used Petsmart's crushed walnut with 2 scoops of NuFinish car polish
