What knives do you fancy?

I have the same block set of Henckles I bought 20 years ago and they are there mid range stuff BUT $650 for a chefs knife????!!!!?? Maybey if I were a professional chef I didnt pay that much for my full set

Right now Boker Saga stonewashed and older japanese hammer forged laminated santoku I picked up from KnifeArt a few years ago but cannot remember the maker

Henckels for me too, since 1979.
No need to buy any others, because of a lifetime warranty I've had to use twice.
(Damn pumpkins!)

I use Dexter Russell Sani-Safe and Sofgrip knives. They're cheap enough to have one set at home, one in the camper and one at the hunting land but also hold up well enough for everyday use, which is what they get.
