What piss's you off in traffic?

In South Florida they can tell the season by how large the pile of taillight shards is at the stop lights. It means the snowbirds are in town, and they can't see over the dash, so they crash into the back of the car in front of them.

theres an intersection everyday after work i must go through, the light turns green and i still sit there more then 1 minute in the same spot waiting for the line to go forward. whats the hold up?

I was behind one of those snowbirds this week.

She was driving along in a Buick in the left lane below the speed limit. The driver rode the brakes for several miles with the brake lights on, once I started to smell the burning of brake pads I was finally able to get around to pass. It was a woman sitting no more than 2 inches from the steering wheel with her face and could hardly see over it.

Why get out of a lane until it ends. If you know the lane ends 10 miles ahead, do you not get in it? I've actually heard traffic engineers complain when folks do what you want. The lane ends where it ends for a reason. The two lanes should stay full until the merge and 'zipper' together.
The trouble with those engineers' ideas is they require folks knowing how to drive well and paying attention all the time. Totally impractical.

assholes turning on their hazard flashers while it is raining. It serves no purpose, and I have no idea why they travel in the fast lane with them on instead of pulling over.

The reason people turn flashers on is to keep someone from running up on them and rear ending them. WIth the flashers on in heavy rain you can keep some idea of how far out in front of you the next car is. You must be from the Midwest where it never rains.?????

Speed limits are set at the 40th percentile, when safety guidelines actually call for limits to be set at the 70th percentile. It's no wonder people zone out....but then again, most people out there only know how to steer a car. Driving is out of their skill set.

Watching the news tonight and they have a spot on rolling coal on to unsuspecting BI cyclers in spandex. And they acted like the act of rolling coal was something that just came about in the last couple months, I been rollin coal on unsuspecting spandex wearing BI cyclers for 20 years. Get it right you news people....
