What scope for a 22LR ?

I’ve been happy with my Vortex Diamondback 2-7x35 Rimfire scope.

Should be around $200-$250
I have an older vortex 3-9 on my savage and it’s plenty for me

FWIW, my main rule-of-thumb when buying toys, (from guns to guitars to bicycles) is, "everything else being more-or-less equal.....go with best re-sale value"! And IMO, that's probably the above-mentioned Leupold ( at least among the more reasonable priced options).

The thing I’ve noticed that’s critical with 22lr is bullet drop and parallax. If my zero is at 50 yds and I want to shoot at 100 yds I have to dial 1.8 mils or hold it over on my reticle. If I want to shoot 200 yds I have to dial 6.7 mils or hold it over on my reticle and I can’t see those targets clearly with a fixed parallax on all 3 of those distances. Furthermore being able to dial a tac style turret and have an adjustable parallax I can move to match the distance I’m shooting is a must for accurate 1 shot impacts if I read the wind call correctly. That’s just my 2 cents worth of experience.
