harvester per SiCo is 16" barrel minimum on 223/300blk/308. 24" minimum on anything with magnum in the name. 300/7 mag

I went with a 762 can from Surefire. The QD mount is downward compatible meaning it will fit on a 556 adapter but a 556 can won't fit on a 762 adapter. Still need another muzzle device or two though but you figure if you buy a device or two a month while you wait, you'll have them all by the time the stamp comes back.

Ah I understand, about to say Uh.....I use my can with my pistols 9 inch, no problem...but I use AAC.

im sure 300blk subs are fine out of an sbr. they torture the heck out of their cans and probably determined that 10 and 12 inch sbrs break the can down too quick. im sure its not a pressure issue

Each can is rated differently, the harvester is focused on being light at the cost of some durability.

The Silencerco Saker on the other hand can be shot on a 7.5" 556 barrel, but it is 20oz.

Not sure what AAC can you have, but I believe all of their rifle cans are rated to only 10.5" on a 556.
