I bought a 3 gun package recently for $900:

1 Mid 70's Browning SA-22 with gold inlay scroll engraving and beautiful wood in good+ condition ($5-600 value)
2 Springfield (CZ made) M6 scout rifle (22 over 410) with original box in almost new condition ($4-500 value)
3 Mid 50's Winchester model 63 22lr with beautiful wood in good+ condition ($5-600 value)

The plan was to sell two out of the three and keep one, which would leave me with about $0 to +$100 in one gun, OR sell one and keep two, which would leave me with about $200 each in two guns,
OR sell all three and make about $5-600 profit.

The problem is when they get so pretty that you don't want to sell them. Having a hard time deciding between the Browning and Winchester, keeping both for now. Springfield's about to hit Gunbroker (not pictured). So roughly $200 each in the Browning and Winchester 22's seen below:

1941 General Motors 30cal carbine $125........
Back in 1942 a friend of a friend of my father had a fox sterlingworth side by side 12 gauge and wanted to have a third shot so he bought an automatic so then he sold that to his friend and he decided he wanted an automatic also so he sold it to my father for $25 I still have it

What kind of boat do you have that you need all that armament?
I bought a stainless steel Ruger single six with both cylinders for $125 out of the old small Atlanta Advertiser I'll never forget it because when I went to meet the guy in Peachtree City and asphalt truck and a big Cadillac collided and it flipped the asphalt truck right in front of us I don't know if anyone was hurt but that's a sight I'll never forget.

One of my favorite buys was back in the late 80s. I bought a nice used 180 Series Mini-14 for around $180. A few months later the Clintoon gun ban came about and folks were going nuts buying stuff. A buddy said he was going to the gunshow at the farmers market and wanted to know if I had anything I wanted to sell. I said sure, see if anyone is dumb enough to give you $500 for this Mini 14. A few hours later he walks in and hands me $500. The next day he tells me he knows a guy selling a Remington 600 in .350 Mag and he knew I collected 600s. asking price was $350. I handed him $350 back and he came back with my Remington 600 in .350. So I've always figured I had $30 in it. Over the years I have worked in LGS so often times I bought trade-ins for pennies on the dollar. I'm a cheap bastard when it comes to guns. Probably only bought a handful at near retail. So if I own it, it probably was gotten at a steal. On the other hand, I've bought a few pigs on a poke too.
