A Taurus 4 inch blued 357 Mag revolver from Western Auto in LaGrange. I'm guessing it was a model 66 but don't honestly remember. First semi auto handgun I bought was a bi-tone XD 40, for $450. Picked it up from a fellow at a Chicken Shack in Warm Springs. I remember being very nervous about racking the slide to load the first round because I thought it might fire it when the slide slammed forward. Held it out my truck window to do it! That was maybe 10 years ago..........

Still have it - The serial number has changed which is a pretty cool Ruger customer service story for some other time

Mine was a S&W 469. I had a shotgun a 30-30 and a .22 rifle from my dad, but that was my first new one when I turned 21. It was a bad ass.

That's close to what my first purchase was! Mine happened to be a S&W Model 659 with adjustable sights. That thing was stupid accurate! Came in second place in the first target competition I ever shot in! I truly regret letting that go.

Mine was a .25 Galesie Bresia, stolen by my wife's a**hole son, never got it back. Next was a Marlin mod 99 in 1965, still have it and if works fine.
