Many, myself included, have landed on the G19. It's an awesome pistol that nobody should have difficulty concealing.

Personally after going through many phases I have settled on my j-frame .38 Smith model 37 (I don't fear zombies)

Find the one you like, everyone has different tastes.

As many have said, and are very accurate; pick a model and caliber YOU like and trust your life to.

I personally carry a Gen 3 G19 ON duty and really like it. Of course Its been my duty weapon for almost 9 years now. What I carry off duty depends on a number of variables: weather, dress, location I'm frequenting, etc. I will carry either a G27, Sig 1911, Sig 226 or my duty G19 off duty, in a variety of holsters, IWB, OWB, or Shoulder. Just depends. Whichever you carry, go concealed and TRAIN with it. Drawing, firing, acquisition of target from concealed carry, reloading (if ya carry an extra mag)etc. Be comfortable and well versed in what you do decide to go with.

Oh and for HK boys, Chopper and Soviet, I'll be adding a P2000 SK soon enough.
