What rifle would you choose to grab and keep near and dear? Why?

JP barrel, lancer lower, trijicon optics, good guts. It’s been flawless at some 3gun matches. And by some I mean many at the semi-pro level. Not the most tactical but shoots lights out

Quality AR, probably ~16” and in 5.56. It’s the go-to platform for everything from LE, military, and private citizens. Parts, ammo, and magazines are pretty easy to find and you need very few specialty tools to work on them.

My go-to AR has a lightweight Daniel Defense upper with an Aimpoint PRO pinned to a BCM lower, Magpul 2 point sling and a Surefire light.
Simple, light, effective, and dependable. The optic lets me shoot out to my effective range although I do have scopes on other uppers.

A jack of all trades if I can only have one. Quality 14.5 AR with lpvo and offset irons with an IR laser and suppressor. Probably grab my Geissele. Because I like it. I'd also want my suppressed 22 and a long range option in a drag bag.
