Depends on what you are wanting to use the handgun for. Those would work fine at closer distances, not nearly as well once you get back around 15yds or more.

Do they sell a plug for the front site hole or do you just run it blank or leave the stock sight on?

I watched one of the videos and they left the original front sight in place. I thinks the price is way to high and I could see a learning curve after looking at a front sight for nearly 50 years.
