I like it pretty good, when you catch chuck roasts on sale it's a lot cheaper and similar taste when done properly. I like to cut mine up into 1 inch cubes and make burnt ends with them. Smoke 2-2.5 hours spray eith apple cider vinegar and water mix every 30 minutes or so, foil pan with butter, beef broth, butter, and more seasonings until tender, then sauce and cook for 30 minutes or so.I smoked a chuck roast yesterday for the first time, and did it like a brisket, low and slow, not too bad.
