Is that hospital food or take out from S&S ? Either way I'm out on that. Looks like liver and onions.
You might not have been in Macon long enough but there used to be there take out places called Pick Up Meals that served food like that. One of them was on Poo Nono Ave right across from Polley's Mexican food. When I helped out at the Texaco and Uhaul across from Westgate the old couple there would send me down there in the old Ford Couriour to get lunch.

I grew up eating oxtails it was cheap eats back then. Both mom and grandma made some mmmmm mmmmmm good oxtail soup.

These folks do a great St. Louis style rib too. I usually detest the big St. Louis ribs but these are delicious.
