I just aquired a mint Gen 2 G17 and I am really in love with this pistol.
I believe the new manufacture Gen 3s are the nicest guns being made. The platform is 25 years old and has been refined. The latest guns coming out seem to have some of the best trigger pulls out of the box and are very accurate. Take it for what it's worth.

I still have an unfired 4th gen G22 I'd trade for the right 3rd gen. I only heard bad things about the 4th gen 9mms, has anybody heard anything about the other calibers in 4th gen ?
My 4th gen G19 has been great. From what I've heard the early gen 4 9mms had some problems cycling hutthey changes the recoil spring or something like that. I shoot my gen 4 better than any other blocks ive had and shot
