What's the best scope out there for around $350?

First you need to factor the cost of a quality mount. You can get a DNZ mount for around $50. That leaves you around $300. I would look at a Leupold VX2 2-7x, Nikon Monarch 2-8x or Vortex Diamondback 3-9x. I would also do some research on opticstalk. There are folks over there that really understand scopes.

Picked up a Redfield Revolution 3x9x40 for the 30-30 liked it and put a Redfield Revenge 3x9x52 on on a 30-06 great optics fully multi coated and lifetime warranty for right at $200 a piece with tax. they are made by leupold

Thanks for the suggestions. Any more suggestions? Also, anybody know any places that will have good deals and "black Friday" type things going on?

I am going with Bushnell Elite 4200 series. Great scopes for the money and proof tested to 10K rounds of .375 H&H I believe. I love mine!

^^^This^^^ But they are no longer called the 4200. They are just called Elite.

They also have a patented anti fog coating that actually WORKS and titanium alloy tube.

Where can you get Nikon Buckmaster scopes for under $200???

With any scope, you have to name the specific Brand and Model when discussing the features, because all manufactures make varying quality scopes to meet different price points. There is a very big difference between a Nikon Prostaff and Monarch.

Shameless Plug - I have a Nikon Buckmaster for sale here... It is great, but I bought a different one with the Bullet Drop Compensating Reticle.

I understand the difference between the models. The buckmasters I am talking about is a 3-9x40 with the plain nikoplex reticle. It doesn't have all the features yours does. The last time I was in county line guns, they had those for less than $200.
