What's the deal with RCBS dies

I had the same problem with a Hornady .223 expander. I made sure the expanded was straight and lubed inside every third case neck no problems so far.

Were those converted 5.56 cases with crimped primers?

Once I get the new parts. I'll probably put these dies up for trade. Ill just stick with my Lee set.

I have had the same problem with lee, redding and RCBS sizing dies. had to fix each one of them about 5-6 times. It sounds really stupid, but what fixed it for me is when I used the same band shell holder as the die I was using. 4k+ rounds later, never had the issue again. I didn't change dies, I didn't change lubes.
