What's your concern in a gun shop?

What do you look for the most? Customer service or gun and ammo selection?

I agree. And both Georges will go above and beyond what they need to do in order to make sure you get what you want. I don't mind that their selection is limited, because I know they can order anything I need and they will sell it to me for a helluva lot cheaper than anyone else in town.

Prices mean nothing to me as I almost never buy guns from a gun store. My biggest concern is a friendly environment where I feel at home. That is why I hang out at Bartow Knife and Gun mostly now.

It would be nice if most just acknowledged you when you walked in or stopped conversing with another colleague and say, I will be right with you. I have found the staff at Quickshot to respond to you immediately or as soon as they finish with a customer - superior service. I am sure there arer other well-staffed and curteous stores; I just haven't been to that many stores yet. Adventure Outdoors is another good one - IMHO

Customer Service! If I just wanted cheap prices, I'd got to Wal-Mart... where the employees mostly know jack crap and the prices are about as low as they get.

(Ok- I'll still buy .22LR at wally world- assuming it comes back)

Price, Selection and Service

If all they have is an old H&R .22, it costs $700 and the guys is a 'phallus' about everything, I probably won't be back

(BTW, nothing wrong with an H&R .22. I have my Grandfather's in a display box)
