What's your gun owner approach? Only own what you shoot? The more, the better?

To me if a gun is not shot, it doesn't automatically mean it is not in use. If you enjoy taking them apart and modifying them and over all enjoy them, then to me that is enough use out of it. As long as you are having fun no problems :)

i beleive everyone who is not a felon should own 3 firearms at least
1)a 12 gauge pump action or semi-auto shotgun
2)a carry type pistol in a regular easy to find caliber
3)a 22 rifle or pistol

i had to sell my shotgun but i still got my 22 and carry pistol , one for defense against the larger two legged variety of threat and one to defend my bird feeder from rodents or normally cheap plinking. and i shoot them both as regularly as i can

I try to acquire a guns to fit a specific need or niche. Most of my guns are geared towards defense and/or plinking. I am not in a tax bracket that would allow me accumulate safe queens/show pieces.

I've grown out of the "more the merrier" stage. I only want what I REALLY enjoy, and enjoy shooting regularly. All else is just fat tying up cash.

I'm a budget shooter so I just have one for me and one for the wife to plink/defend with. Both use the same caliber. If I had the money I would probably have a small arsenal though lol
