That’s not the plumber. That’s an ignorant inspector that told me to pass the electrical inspection I had to bond the water line. He says he don’t care that plastic isn’t a conductor his boss says bond the water line. At that point you shake your head and pull a bare copper wire to the plastic pipe

I said it for years, you cannot use my water service line for a ground. What's happens if the pipe gets replaced with a plastic pipe. Finally the electrical code caught on with the idea.
