Where would you go if you were a "political refugee"???

Watching Scarface, again, the other night and wondered. What if YOU were a "political refugee" from America, where would you go? I'm thinking maybe South Africa, UAE, or maybe ???? Anyone? I guess all those Cubans that left Castro's Cuba didn't agree with Castro so they just left, in masses. Could it happen here?

Not a different country but I'd go to Alaska. Bear and moose meat taste great,pleanty of fishing, its big, beautiful and you can find solitude easy, not to mention the gold is a plus. The mosquitto's are a different story though.

Finland or Norway. Of course this thread is hypothetical since most all of the countries listed have limited visa issuances without a contract for work, etc. I believe Australia's is 6 months and very enforceable. We (US) are the only real lackeys when it comes to alien documentation.

I spend a month in Norway and Finland. I really love it there and a person could feasible disappear, but working and making a living would be difficult.

And yes, Alaska is amazing
