Thanks. I was thinking about getting a LMT and doing it up in a similar way but its a little more money.
Wouldn't you rather have a DD CHF barrel? DD makes awesome stuff.
Nah I dont like the look of the DD rifles.
Mine is a Franken-Colt. About the only Colt parts remaining are the bare upper, lower and bolt carrier.

I would still go out to Bulls Eye Indoor Range and take a look. Some of these retail snobs are too lazy to go look through what they have. If a member says they have one they probably do. Nothing to loose except a little gas. Or call them again and ask a different salesman.
Call USA Gun and Pawn. They have a complete wall of AR's. You never know they might just have one in stock.
