Why are so many first posts, a fer sail ad in the classifieds?

When I joined, I looked through the forums and started posting comments in the forums.

Now so many new members first post is a fer sail ad. Nobody wants to learn about the site and participate in the discussions? Guess I'm missing something as usual.

A lot of people dont realize this forum exists until they desperately try and buy a gun online by posting repeatedly I GOTS CASH and HMU because they failed a background check.
