yep that and dragging a dirty "bore cleaner" through some expensive barrels is not happening

I don't really use en. They absorb what I want out of a barrel and continue to deposit it again and again. You then have the issue of mixing various chemicals used to clean bores.

I do keep one in a go kit with some clp if ever needed in the field. No other chemicals used and I typically pitch it after I use it. The only reason I use it if sand or something got down the barrel, so I don't want that being deposited in future uses.

I really like them for cleaning shotguns.
