Why do people feel compelled to tell us why the are selling a firearm?

I'm selling this gun because it kicks too hard and makes me want to cry.

I'm only selling it because I can't afford to feed the damn thing anymore at 60 cents a round (.357 Sig).

I'm selling this one because it went full-auto on me one time, shot out a set of lights and got me banned from the local indoor range, and even though everybody says it was a fluke, I just can't trust it anymore.

I hate to sell this one, but my nephew was staying at my house for a week while I was on vacation and I think he and his dope-head buddy robbed somebody with it, and I gotta get rid of it.

I'm selling this fine, reliable .38 special snubby revolver because it turns out that it isn't really good for deer hunting like the clerk at the big box gun store told me the day I bought it.

I'm sailing this cause my wife said so.

I'm selling this because it's an Evil Black Rifle and Nancy Pelosi came to me in a dream and told me to do so. I also believe I hear it talking to the other rifles in the safe at night. I think its planning on turning my other guns against me.
