They should have said upgrade. You have to shoot many, many thousands of rounds to “break” one.
Lifetime free repairs if you take/send it to them.
It's not free if you have to send those things for repair. The cost of sending one at a jacked up rate and add shipping insurance. That's not cheap. No identifying marks or messages on the box and have to be sent by special delivery. I forgot what they call it exactly. Hopefully they ship it back free.

Or you spend a little gas and drive it directly to them. Nice place to wait and take it home with you when they finish. Great customer service.

No, it’s not.
They probably send a label but it’s free to walk in.
Even if not yeah there is shipping, but it’s not much, insurance would be nominal, no need to buy over $600. It will come back will all original parts and your “custom” parts in a bag.
 
Just go to a match and they will fix it there while you wait. They have matches all around the country. Probably one in your area too.
Here's an idea, shoot the match and have fun while you are there.
However, most people just buy them and stick them in a drawer or safe. It's hard to wear one out like that, lol.
