why does everyone hate on hi point?

Does a Glock look like a Hi Point or does a Hi Point look like a Glock? They both look like Blocks.

Neither...It's all about the reliability and double tap. After the first shot with any Glock, all it takes is a little finger wiggle to send another round down range right behind the first bullet...keep wiggling that finger and it shoots like a machine pistol. Nothing really remarkable about how they shoot till you notice the very short trigger reset.

Hi point pistols? gay period I'm new but any body that I've heard of that has one doesn't have all their teeth. Don't know bout carbines sounds like cheap garbage to me sorry my life is worth more than 200$ on a cheap pistol if need b

How much is your life worth? $499-$900 for a Glock (depending on if you buy a FDE used in the classifieds)? $1000 for a Colt? $2000 for a Les Baer?

Glock is cheap gun. The cost to make one is rumored to be $75. Just because you pay 8x the price doesn't make it more reliable. It's reliable because of it's design, product testing, and customer feedback.

I was in Gables and a guy was there trying to trade a HP .45, They said no thanks, He turned to me and asked if I would give him $40.00 for it, I said no thanks, but later I wondered if I should have. No biggie I didn't think about it too long. Its not like I missed out on a great deal! lol

Don't really matter what it looks like. What matters is that when its pointed at you, you know it will work, and it scares the bejesus out of you,

I still can't believe Survivor Johnny hasn't chimed in. He is a Hi-Point advocate. His Hi-Point carbine may be the exception for all I know but it functioned flawlessly for me. hat being said, I'm still not running out to buy one.
