I know that this is a dead horse subject... But I just can't get it through my thick skull, When you put something up for sale it's one price....But I f someone wants to trade the value of your item goes up. I just don't understand that concept.

I see people using it as a gauge for value, based off retail for the same item at the time of trade.
Of course, the highly in my favor, just get passed over.

People over value their trade often sometimes in general.

I find that if you find an item you want, then a deal can be struck.
If the extra trade value scares away someone, then, it just saves the butthurt vs giving it away for free.

Because some members on here think their stuff is worth more than average retail when they try to sell or trade.
Because sometimes I'll get offered a $500 LCP in trade. 
That'll require me to add a little "cushion" to mine so I get to eliminate the "heavy favor items" from getting the best of me.......
