Just an FYI for everybody the "suspect" in Lecroys (the trooper) shooting pleaded not guilty at his hearing/ arraignment this afternoon at 1pm...............................
But of course he did...he has yet to confess to anything, so of course he is going to roll the dice and hope for a mistrial or some other legal loophole to open for him. He has nothing left to lose...there's a good possibility he'll be facing the death penalty if convicted. But he'll probably end up with life in jail at our expense...
In this case...'suspect' should be changed to 'scumbag'.
I have yet to hear a lawyer (whom we are probably paying for as well) suggest to his client to plead guilty.

I heard a statement from the scum-sucker's bottom-feeding lawyer today. The douche waved his right to his first court appearance, so the lawyer entered a plea of "not guilty" for him. The lawyer stated "you can go to jail 20 for DUI, that doesn't make you a murderer".
So the no-good lawyer seems to be postruring to exclude the man's past criminal record, as it apparently has nothing to do with this murder investigation.
The guy was caught ON CAMERA shooting the trooper. There is NO question of his guilt.

I took a very in-depth tour of Cobb County's jail today, including areas that are not available to the public.
At 12 noon, I would estimate that 40% or more of the inmates were still lying in bed. The only ones out of bed were a handful that were on "laundry duty," and the rest were sitting down eating their lunch, which consisted of 2 sandwiches, cookies, and a bag of chips each.
There is no excuse for that many prisoners to be sleeping in until lunch time. They should be working their asses off improving the community in one way or another. It makes me sick to think that my tax dollars are being spent to keep prisoners in a system where they have no responsibilities and literally get to goof off all day...

all that being said, the trooper messed up big time, no1. if someone runs from you call for back up.
no2. if said person is stopped pull your gun and make the perp, get out of the freaking car. never go up to a car , make the perp. come to you. God bless his family he made a big mistake and paid the price. the court system is a joke. the georgia state patrol needs to make some changes in thier training.

DID I READ THAT RIGHT???? I understand that things could be done different ....but are you REALLY blaming Chad for this???
My understanding is that the vehicle he was chasing crashed, and he was going in to offer aid. The assailant cracked open his passenger door and popped off three shots, striking the trooper in the neck.
Even if he had his gun out and pointed in the direction of the vehicle with his finger on the trigger, there's a snowball's chance in hell the outcome would've been any different.
