Wild looking squirrel

The first one I saw in October near Sylvania - it looked and acted like like a lemur. I saw a second one end of this deer season near deepstep. First time I had ever seen one. I thought I was a fox squirell until a showed a clip to a local and they clued me into them.

That’s a grey fox squirrel. They also come in reddish brown, black, and white. I’ve seen all 4 colors hunting in central Georgia. There are a lot in Monroe county. They normally hang out on the edges of fields. They are fun to watch when deer hunting.

Buddy of mine went golfing today and snapped a picture of this wild looking squirrel.

I’ve got some really big gray squirrels as well as fox squirrels but never seen one look like this one before.

neat looking....I remember as a boy in 1955 where we lived there was one pure white squirrel that lived in a tree in our yard...it was the coolest looking thing I'd ever seen at the time.
