wildcat creek by lake burton.

anybody fish this area? can you give me some hints, tips, tricks to
fishing that creek please? STILL haven't caught anything out of that stream.
try several times a yr too.

Ive never had much luck, its fished pretty heavy. Best spot I've found up there is below the sliding rock and it wasn't much .

Those assholes catching fish there are running down stock trucks. Those aren't trout, they are minnows.

they are all minnows compared to my normal fishing of choice but good enough for camping
and the family.

I've been fishing Wildcat since I was a kid, some days are better than others. Funny thing, I've never had luck by the sliding rock.

Most of my lucky spots are before the first campground, right side going up. There is one spot where the creek is down a steep, short bank from the road. There is a short set of waterfalls coming down with small pools, with a large pool at the bottom. One of the best spots.

If I get up there soon I'll update with more specific directions.
