That sucks to here, im glad I didnt pull the trigger and get one, are they fixing the issue or just sending them out anyway?

I honestly don't know... They worked with me on getting the gun up and running, but I also had to do some of the work required to get it 100% reliable myself (mainly cleanup of the trigger pack).

They are good folks, but I don't know how much they've been able to get these guns working 100%.

BM 59"s have not been imported in years.If someone is making new ones I have no knowledge of that.

Fairly new... last year or so. they are being built by James River Armory from parts kits for Classic Firearms (although Sarco seems to have them too).

Well they're ugly but everything I've read said they're good rifles.

I wouldn't say there "ugly", maybe not as pretty as a m1 garand or m14 but certainly not ugly.
