Curious about the Norinco clone of the Winchester 1897 trench gun. Has anyone hear owned one? If so how well do they hold up.

I had one and pins and stuff would wiggle loose and start to worm out when I'd put a box of birdshot downrange. Otherwise it was ok for what it was, and it certainly looked cool. Slamfire was fun.

I have one....forget what I paid for it years ago but it wasn't exorbitant. It functions well for a Chinese knockoff made in Zhangzhou . The only thing I can say is that the bayonets you can buy for this that are repros rattle and are loose on the final circular mounting point on the gun. Otherwise, It has good wood, and the finish seems okay and it cycles fine. The only thing I did was to stain the stock and corn cob a darker color.
