Took a girl ahoiting yesterday for the first time, she did fantastic

We shot my beretta, titan.25, and my taurus .22 revolver

After the swap meet on saturday i was in walmart and low and behold they had 333 round count boxes of the winchester .22 hp

I bought 3 of course and took one with us

Every cylinder we loaded had at least one dud, sonetimes two. I know .22 can be finicky at times but this was getting stupid

My advice, dont buy this ammo

If someone is hurting for it though, ill sell it at cost (i has two boxes left, but you have been warned)

I went through about 300 rounds of thunderbolt yesterday, only 1 dud. All of the rounds went through semi-automatics.

Which gun was giving you the fits with them?

The past few times I have gotten any Winchester .22 ammo, it has been CRAP.

Lots of failure-to-fire, and even a couple of squibs, which can be pretty damn dangerous.

out of my Ruger MK III, Browning Buckmark, 2 Beretta Neos and even the Ruger single six, I have the worst performance out of the bulk Winchester than any other bulk 22 round.
its a constant misfire, failure to chamber, failure to eject.
most other bulk that I have tried runs pretty good in them, the Remington Golden bullet being the best.
But I guess it depends on the particular gun, I just don't waste my time even trying the Winny bulk anymore, after 2-3 times it just don't work for me.

This posting and all the replies are funny, because the 555 and 333 boxes do GREAT in my firearms, much better than some of the other brands mentioned that do well for the other posters. In fact, it's more accurate in my Marlin than much more expensive stuff, or at least it was the last time I actually shot 22.

It could be the quality is down, or it could just be that 22's are finicky....

I've got an old Mossberg bolt action .22 that shoots those 333's as accurately as Eley ammo. Problem is there are so many misfires, I can't use it for NRA small bore matches. If I shoot Wolf match or Green Tag, it's just as accurate and also reliable. But darn they're expensive by comparison.
